This policy explains how AprendeTildes handles information when you use the Android or iOS mobile app and this website.

Controller and contact

AprendeTildes is operated by Colonia Software (Guillermo Rodriguez), based in Uruguay. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@coloniasoftware.com.

Information stored on your device

The app locally stores learning and game progress, preferences, tutorial state, and other indicators needed for the game to work. Game history may include the date, game type, score, displayed questions, whether an answer was correct, and the selected answer.

This information remains on your device and Colonia Software cannot access it remotely. You can remove it by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it, subject to your operating system’s options and backups.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. We also do not send the text of locally stored questions or answers to our servers or Firebase.

App analytics and configuration

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used and to improve it. It may receive events such as the selected game type or level, game starts, completions or abandonments, outcome, score, error count, duration, hint use, ad interactions, and Premium or purchase screens.

Firebase may process an app or installation identifier, device and operating-system data, app version, performance information, and a general location estimated from the connection. We do not use this information to learn your identity directly.

We also use Firebase Remote Config to obtain operating parameters and promotions. This service may use an installation identifier and technical information needed to deliver the appropriate configuration.

The standard Google Analytics property uses the default 2-month retention period for detailed user-level and event-level data. This period does not apply to standard aggregated statistical reports, which may be retained for longer.

Playing without an account, Play Games, and Game Center

You can use the main AprendeTildes features without creating an AprendeTildes account. We do not manage our own passwords or credentials.

On Android, the app may connect to Google Play Games automatically according to your device settings or when you choose to sign in. On iOS, when the feature is available in the installed version, it may connect to Game Center. You can also play without using these services.

When you use these services, Google or Apple may process your player identifier, nickname, avatar, scores, achievements, and game activity. AprendeTildes may submit scores or achievements to its leaderboards, but it does not receive your Google or Apple account password. The visibility, retention, and deletion of that information are managed through your account and the relevant provider’s settings: Play Games privacy and Game Center & Privacy.

Advertising

The free version may display ads through Google AdMob. Premium users do not receive AdMob ads.

• Android: the app may display personalized ads. Google may select ads based on information and interests associated with the device or account, subject to applicable consent and advertising choices.
• iOS: the app requests only non-personalized ads. These ads are not based on the user’s past behavior, although AdMob may still use identifiers or local storage for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention.

AdMob may process the IP address to estimate a general location, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic data. Where required by applicable law, the app displays Google’s consent options. You can reopen privacy options from the app menu when they are available.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. AprendeTildes does not receive your full card details. The app receives the purchase identifier and status needed to enable or restore Premium and records purchase or restoration events in Analytics.

Website data and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and download-link clicks. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, such as _ga, to distinguish installations, visitors, and sessions. Under the default configuration, these cookies may remain for up to 2 years, unless you delete or block them in your browser.

Detailed user-level and event-level website data is retained for 2 months. Standard aggregated statistical reports may be retained for longer. The same practices apply when you open site articles inside the app through its embedded browser.

Providers and transfers

Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, Google Analytics, AdMob, and Play Games are Google services. Game Center and the App Store are Apple services. Google Play and the App Store process purchases. Processing by these providers is subject to their own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.

Data may be processed in countries other than yours under the measures provided by those providers. We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to providers needed for the purposes described here or when required to comply with a legal obligation.

Security

Communications with Google, Apple, and the website use encryption in transit where supported by the providers. Local information is protected by your device’s security measures. No storage or transmission method offers absolute security.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

• Local data remains until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it, subject to operating-system backups.
• Detailed Analytics data is retained for 2 months; aggregated reports may be retained for longer.
• Website Analytics cookies may remain for up to 2 years.
• Advertising, purchase, Play Games, and Game Center data is retained according to Google or Apple’s policies and settings.

You can manage available ad privacy options in the app, device advertising controls, browser cookies, and Play Games or Game Center information through their respective settings. There is no separate AprendeTildes account that you need to delete.

If your local law grants rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction, contact support@coloniasoftware.com. We may be unable to associate a request with aggregated or pseudonymous information when we do not hold information that identifies you.

Minors

AprendeTildes is not directed to minors and does not knowingly request personal information from minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a minor has provided us with personal information, contact support@coloniasoftware.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app, the services used, or legal requirements change. We will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
